Is this jason from TCCA. If the v8 was available with a MTX it would be sweet, too bad it's not. Great ford ideas.

Cost alone makes this a bad choice, try finding the 3.4L for under $3,000 used......I have yet to see one in working condition at that price. So I ruled that out even if it could fit (I am sure it could if you reeeeeeaaaaallllly chopped up the Tour)

Completely different engine basis. (I.E. not Duratec based - therefore you would have to custom fabricate every mount, PCM, tranny, etc)
