There was no SE Sport in 1997, it was the top of the line SE, which had sport tuned suspension, V6 and ABS standard. Is there a P67 in your VIN? It's an early SE.
Sport packages were available on 1996-early 1998 GL and LX, and could be had with the 4 banger. After 1998.5, the SE Sport was essentially the same as the GL/LX Sport, but with V6 standard.

And no, the SE Sport is not the same as an SVT.
