91 awd dsm with about 6 grands in mods under the hood.
dsm's mods, fmic,vpc,16g,avcr,afc2,3inch exhaust,full custom intake with a fatty k&n attached, totally reworked suspension, ligher wheels, upgraded throttle body elbow, upgraded throttle body. There is more, but thats enough for now and that you understand the level of my dsm's mods. The engine is stock, thats about it.

well the other day at the track we found out which was faster.

now my dsm is messed up, it doesn't make boost properly due to the wastegate not closing correctly. It'll make 10psi at 5 grand and sometimes spike to 15. Changing the avc-r does nothing. So the wga is messed up and in need of replacement. I'm still waiting on my mechanic to get things working.
anyway, so i'm in my dsm, cause no one drives that other than me, my dad or mechanic. Tis my baby.
and a friend who can drive pretty good is in my csvt. He does some pratice launches in the staging lanes(with no one even close of course) and gets the launch RPM down.
we hit up the line, lights drop and the dsm walks....BAD
of course off the line I pull the csvt like a red rider wagon. The thing cuts 2.4 60's vs 1.8's in the dsm. Hit 2nd and bury the go pedal, and start to pile up the car lengths. Third comes to bear and things just look worse and worse for my tour. Theres nothing it can do against such a highly modified car, even a half broken car.
hit 4th since the upper part of 3rd breaks up and cross the line. Not sure the time since the stupid timers broke. I'd guess my dsm was about 3 bus lengths ahead, maybe 4 or even more.
so now my friends know, my dsm
even broken, destroy's my poor svt.
oh well the svt wins me the road course races like it was designed too.
so they each have their advantage.
