Jason43 was correct, it's just the stock boot. There's enough room in the console to just tuck the extra material of the stock boot downwards.

If you were to get a B&M short throw, it comes with a different shift knob as well. I have the VooDoo knob on my ride and have it powder coated white to match the gauges, its very nice IMO
I second this, I love my Voodoo shift knob. This is the third car that I've bought one for, plus Bob is a great guy to deal with. Mine has a black wrinkle finish that matches the interior perfectly and I also had mine engraved with SVT on the top.

That's my setup: Cougar knob + Steeda shifter. The shifter looks better than that old pic shows. It has the same polished look as the knob.

The leather on his stock boot cover looks smoother than mine.

have a pic you can bring to "show and tell?" sounds good....
ps is the cougar knob bigger than the svt knob? much? i hate how small the svt one is. my fingertips keep grabbing the stupid lockout ring. i loved my old Momo air race leather ball. perfect size, but too expensive. anyone know if this is a comparable replacement for the momo? (size wise)
