Ben Timm, if you want to setup twin turbos I would suggest two Garret T-25's from a couple of 2nd Gen. DSM's. You'd be able to buy them for around $150 each from a couple of DSM'ers who have upgraded to 16G's or larger.
They would spool very quickly and provide you with enough boost to 7000rpm, seeing as one is rated for 5500rpm @ max cfm on a 2 litre.
I too would LOVE to help you design this system. I think Rara and I could come up with something crazy. The trickiest thing would be oil feed and return lines and the exhaust work.
That is great i was think the same thing. about the T-25s. i just got doen reading another ardical on turbos from the sport compact car of september. it said that a TT set up on V6 CAN be better the a big single. Cheap is the idea here. i want to see just about how much i can get out off 1500. which is now down to 800.(3.0L) tools is no problem either. like i have said befor my father has been a autorepair man for about 30 years. I also have a 4 car shed that will work out nicely. if you guys want to come help sweet. i am kinda out in the boonys thou. like 5 miles downa dirt road.(SUCKS BIG TIME) when this idea started it was goign to be justy a few things here and there. now a sweet ass motor is all i care about. where abouts would i find this nice little cheap T-25s??? i need to buy this here and there so mom does not yell at me.
