One question:

If you remove the battery and toss it in the trunk (and whatever else you can take out), wouldn't a single turbo not only fit easier, but be easier to work with all the exhaust plumbing? Or are the Turbos in a TT that much smaller that it would fit with no problems?

And I saw a few years back a conversion for a Mitsubishi Diamante Wagon that had a Twin-Turbo kit from the 3000GT VR-4 dropped in it. The one interesting thing you can tell of right away was the nearly 2 foot long by 8 inch wide rectanglular hole in the front left corner of the hood (looking at it) which was the cool-air intake for the turbos (Probably the intercooler of course). Was a very slick project car.
