Yeah, but the problem is I think they messed it up in the first place. The could turn round and say no, its really the tranny, and charge me (minus the warranty amount) for the fix.

Meantime, I need a good reliable third party who knows 'Tours and can tell me if the flywheel might even have caused the problem. Plus, this guy comes highly recommended by my neighbor, who has a 67 Mustang GT, and knows his sh!t. I have waay more confidence in him than someone I haven't met yet...

Frankly, the missus feels more comfortable about this guy too. What I'm gonna do is see what caused this. If it turns out the flywheel casued the problem, I'll be seeking any money I am supposed to pay from them (with a lawyer in Small claims if necessary). If it wasn't, then at least the tranny is fixed by a reliable shop. (And so long as I dont have to pay too much, the car is till a bargain.)

Hey, this car now has my blood on it! That means it's practically family, or at least a project I'm not giving up on!!

BTW, thanks much for coming over last night. It was much appreciated. Hope you enjoy the steaks...

Cheers,
