I was born in 1981. i can relate to everything except the lead painted crib...mine was stained or polyurethaned wood. Hose water rules, I still drink from the hose if im outside washing the car or something. Who's got time to go inside and get a drink?? And for years, my only protection in the car was the quickness with which my dad could reach across to the passenger seat and hold me back when he had to stop short. Meh. That's mostly the reason I don't wear a seatbelt today, although i'm getting better with that since the recent accident.
