how hard is it to install a y-pipe anyway?

Not a problem IF you can get the bolts off. I had to make a trip to the muffler shop to get them loosened. If you're gonna do it yourself, have a local shop close by and open just in case.

Has anyone up here in canada ordered the y-pipe from the sho shop and how much did it cost to get it up here in canadian $$$?

Merlin was that 12/6 with just the catless y pipe or did you change anything else? I think Im going to do this mod. It sounds like it give a lot for the money. How much longer will the stainless last compared to the aluminum?

VERY pricey once all the duties, brokerage, gst, etc. added in. It was close to $800 Cdn when all was said and done with the exchange rate. If I knew it was gonna be that expensive I would have had a local muffler shop make one. It was the stainless steel version I bought btw.

Is it against the law to get someone to buy it for you and have them ship it to you like its a gift? Cause thats what I would be doin?  That sucks!! You guys must make alot of cash up there!

it took me 45 min to install the pipe. i had access to airtools, though. helped a ton. I'd probably recommend getting it welded together, though.
