i've got one by random technology, though it's sitting in my garage right now. had a bit of a setback whilst attempting to install it last weekend - rear manifold nuts seized to the studs, resulting in a nasty exhaust leak that cost me $160 to get fixed. eek frown

i'm in one of those passing moments where i'm thinking very seriously about trading the car (on an RSX type S or maybe jetta 1.8t) but will probaby end up keeping it after all. i know i'll take a bath on the trade-in no matter when i do it, but right now that bath is a lot deeper than i'm willing to go for.

my favorite mod would be my borla exhaust...love the sound - not too loud, no rasp, but deeper and a bit louder than stock.

KKM intake is also a great choice.

aesthetically, i love my A6 sidemarkers and my momo shift knob....

hth.

though its not power related I've gotta throw in the B&M short shifter. Al I had on my SVT was the short shifter and the SCA intake(the intakes give the SVTs a great sound under WOP)

The first two mods on my 2000 were the KKM and a set of Ford Motorsport 9MM wires (Bill Jenkins parts guy can hook you up-look in the Home page under items for sale). I also lucked out and got a brand-new Mondeo shift knob for the SVT, which not only looks good, but helps with shifting immesurably!! Good luck!

I got the SHO Y-Pipes, like he said, one of the best performance enhancers I have on my car. I also have the tin can sound problem, but im not to concerned cause it goes away as it heats up. Definately get the KKM, the sound is so cool and im sure it helps in the whole picture

If you want performance:

SHO Shop Y-pipe & Borla Exhaust & KKM & Pro-Flow 75mm MAF

If you want handling:

Short Shift Kit, Rear Sway Bar 20mm+, Front & Rear STB's, and BAT Susp. Kit

Thanks for all the input. The first thing I'm going to due is the DRL relay; 3% discount on insurance. Pays for itself in a year!
Then I think I will go with the KKM intake. My SHO has a K&N and a conectamy and I love the sound of the air rushing in. laugh
Next the shifter. The SVT's is a little mushy.
