I'm looking to start playing basketball again soon and need some basketball shoes with good ankle support (one was severely sprained and other broken w/ 2 screws). I'm leaning towards a high-cut shoe, probably a Nike, but open to other brands.
Any recommendations (brand/model)?
Any good online websites to purchase from? (Eastbay doesn't have much in my size 10.5-11)
EDIT: I'm a lightweight guy!

www.finishline.comwww.niketown.comIf your a lightweight guy try Nike's Flight series of shoes. There SHOX line-up is not as stable if you have been rolling your ankles. If your a bigger guy you might want to try there FORCE series of shoes. For all out comfort give the Jordan XIX SE a try, $165 currently. Or you can go with the regular Jordan XIX for $129.99, they can be found at many Nike outlet stores and they do ship. Stay away from EBAY on the most part as China manufactuerers create a lot of fake Nike shoes and there prices are low. Easy to spot if shipping is $30+.

i just got some new nike air elements. they are light and feel almost like running shoes. real "quick" pair of b ball shoes. not bulky at all. great ankle support. i had some of the new shox but they rubbed the he!! out of my ankle bones. i bled out it felt like, my first time wearing them. promptly took them back for the elements.
if i could get away with it and wouldn't turn my ankle every jump, i would use soem running shoes. i can play real fast with them. seem to jump higher with them too. every time i wear running shoes though, i sprain my ankle til the sole is turning towards the sky.
any nike flight is good and light too. love them just don't like the style anymore.

If the ankles are very problematic, might consider wearing ankle braces.

I've always checked out this site before buying hoops shoes: Kicksology. It appears they are shutting down pretty soon though. I've always found highs to be a little restrictive. Also, I sprained both of my ankles very severely while wearing hightops. If ankle support is what you're after, I'd go with a mid and go with a McDavid laceable ankle brace , especially if one of your ankles is being held together by screws. There is no support better than these things. But remember you'll pay the price is restriction; you just have to determine what's more important -- staying out of the hospital or having less mobility. Right now, with my ankles in relatively good condition, I wear a mid, with no ankle support. Then again, I don't play like I used to.

I personally would stay away from mail order sites, only because I am a total believer in getting a true feel of a shoe.
That said, I screwed up my ankles cheerleading, and I find it painful to wear any shoe/boot that covers the ankle.
It may be a hard combination to find a shoe with the support you need and the comfort you'll want.

hey pete check eastbay. they have a large selection of shoes and might be able to give you some insight to the feel of the shoe. i agree with james that it might be hard to order a shoe online unless you already know what you are after.
