I didn't realize you had just done this either. Sometimes it will take a day or two to reach "normal" status again also.

This isn't true. After about 30 sec, the adjusted fuel and spark tables are erased completely. No need to have the ECU disconnected for any more than a minute. Nothing will be gained - it's not like there a 1 Farad cap holding power to thew ECU or anything like that.
Listen to what RyeLou said, and check to see that all vacuum line, PCV and intake manifold, and the EGR pipe are all secure.
With Ryans car we found tha the PCV was not secure, his UIM gaskets were toast (i.e. the o-rings on both were so old they were dead flat) and he had crummy spark plug wires.

Idle problems are continuing to persist, especially when transitioning from highway back to city driving. When driving today in town, the car stalled several times. I have a JET performance chip - could this be causing the problems? I've pulled the chip and am resetting the computer to see if it makes a difference. I'll also check the PVC, vacuum, and EGR lines.

I checked the lines and everything appears fine, I even replaced the PVC valve (although it was still clean) just to make sure. At this time, the car seems to be driving well without the JET chip and idle problems are not yet apparent.

I'd suspect the jet chip. Could be messing with your A/F ratio or possibly timing...I don't really know much about the jet chip.

The car had some idling problems today and stalled several times. However, since late this evening, the car seems to have stabilized and idle appears very close to normal. I spoke to JET and they insist that their chip isn't (or wasn't) causing the problems, stating that their program doesn't affect idle. They suggested waiting for the car to stabilize without the chip, then reinstalling. JET representative said that maybe the computer was too "confused" with the addition of the headers and their program having been already installed in the computer. They further said that the computer might "better take" their program once the stock program has stabilized with the headers. Does this make sense to anyone?

CEL came on today - PO174. Did a search and found out that it is probably the intake gasket. The car is going into the shop Monday to have the intake gasket checked for leaks and do a overall vacuum check. I noticed that their is some oil around the rubber hose elbow at the bottom of the PCV valve. Could their be a leak in the PCV system? Anything else I should be checking or preparing for?

And thanks to everyone for their advice; it's nerve-wracking when you do a mod. and the car seems to go down the crapper.
