You know what.. I may be new to this list, but it seems to me that some people on this list have a mightier art than thou attitude..

You know... If i were to say "hey if you all sent me money so I could build this great fangled new thingy.. but Im not gonna build one to show anyone,till you give me the money", I personally wouldnt send you anything either..
All this put your money where you mouth stuff is crap.. and if you would take a look out there in the business world, its called a PROTOTYPE.. you want people to buy it, you build it...YOu have to spend Money to make money, I believe is how the phrase goes, How many times have people said "Hey if enough people show interest in this
, maybe they will build it so we can buy it"?????
Thats how free enterprise works, so if your heads arent too big to fit where they seem to be now, you might realize that your "stuff" kinda stinks... I wouldnt buy jack from anyone who says "put your money where your mouth is"...
As far as the line about going to a place that sells pistons and rods and telling them you need a part for a duratec(i.e. pistons and rods) yeah you better fork up some cash, but you know they make the formentioned parts, so its not a total crapshoot.. But if youre going to a place that never has made a turbo kit for a car like this...yeah I know I'd sure as hell want to see something that they had done before I forked over money... Its like going to Brembo, or Baer and asking them for a Camshaft.. yeah they can turn metal on a lathe but doesnt mean they can make a good camshaft.. I wanna see it before I spend money for it...
I sure as hell would know I wouldnt buy a house if all that some guy told me was, hey its gonna be 4 bedrooms 3 baths and have a roof and brick exterior??Or goto a plastic surgen, who just started a new procedure, when you havent seen any of his work?? Would you Mr. Haines? So, why would you want something different for your car
