Definitely some of the best hip-hop out there in my opinion(referring to the Roots). Plus, check out Immortal Technique of the NY underground and you can't forget the Pharcyde for creative rhymes/beats. Other than that, though, the state of hip hop/rap in America is pretty bleak.
