I am an extremely big rap fan and probably listen to lots of rap artists that no one has ever heard of but I think that rap is very good right now. Sure you got some good rappers turning r&b like Ja Rule, Twista, and Lil Flip. All in all I feel its doing very well and enjoy the music such as Lil Boosie, ESG, Lil Keke, T-Rock, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, 3x Krazy etc.

TUPAC!! is my all time favorite.. his songs were deep.. when he rapped i would listen to his songs and i would be like damn!!! my life is not so bad... RIP tupac...
now that hes gone.. im really feelin The LOX.. they dont get any props.. they use to be with badboy but they offed badboy and are now running with ruffryders... they dont get the respect they should.. their material is good...
They are going by themselves, jadakiss, styles P, sheek louch. = the lox..
jada and styles have some original raps.. i havent heard sheek louch yet... if you havent checked them out u need to .. their lyrics hit u in the face with origiality....

I totally agree. The current state of Hip-Hop is trash. It is all about the bling and women. With albums like Ja's "R.U.L.E" and Nas's "Disciple." In the end we as the consumers determine what the artist come out with. If we want the "bling" era to end we have to talk with our money.
