It's such a step up you will love it, but...
Damn that's INSANE!!! 
We have a (now) 4 year old 1700 sq ft 3br, 2.75 ba with finished basement on 1/3 acre in a top ranked school district and paid 1/4 that. (though it's worth 160's now)
Yet another reason why the Republik of Kalifornia is NOT for me!
