Interestingly enough, WU has been a long-standing customer of mine. I didn't notice the debate was going to be held there until this afternoon...
Anyway, Bush has got his work cut out for him tonight, to say the least. The main reasons we (and everyone else who had the SAME intelligence) went to war with Iraq are now factually in tatters, despite the knowledge that Hussein would have reconstituted his WMD program when we turned our attentions elsewhere. I still belive nailing Iraq was and is ultimately the right choice, but combine the reconstruction screwups with the information we have in hand today on WMD and almost ALL of the previously given reasons to invade are marginalized to a great degree.
Pre-debate thoughts on how in the HELL Bush is going to explain all of this to the American public? I guess the same could be asked of Kerry, since he voted in favor of military action against Iraq as well.

Is that tonight?
I'm still astounded that so many people will vote for Kerry just to be rid of Bush. Based on the way Democrats talk about their political objectives, my cousin Percival who still lives with my aunt Micky in her basement could run on the Democratic ballot and still receive the vote of nearly every registered Democrat. They don't care who they get or what he does. It's a shame, really.

I think this race really is more about "Bush" or "Not-Bush" than it is "Democrat" or "Republican", so yes, I'd agree with you that the "Not-Bush" people who cross all political lines would likely vote for damn near anyone as long as it wasn't Bush.

The report released yesterday doesn't really give us anything new, other than more exposure of the Oil-for-Food scandal. I don't think the question here is how should Bush explain Iraq, but rather how Kerry should explain his foreign policy, knowing that it is now in tatters. Since his entire foreign policy is built on gaining more alliances, how is he going to do that now that it is proven that they've been paid to oppose us? Is Kerry going to pay them more to be on our side?
If Bush comes out tonight like he's been on the stump all week, he's going to do good. But if he tries to debate half-asleep again we're going to be in serious trouble.

First of all, Bush: "there have been rumours on the internets..." LOL
Anyway...Glad to see someone FINALLY brought up the discrepancy in Kerry's logic on wanting a coalition in Iraq but not wanting one in talks with N. Korea. Bush needs to drill that one home and the French scam too to succeed tonight IMHO.

Bush seems to be hard on the attack tonight, almost out for blood. i think its a good angle for him considering most polling shows foreign policy will decide this election.

Thanks, there are multiple internets. Even if G.W.B. doesn't know it, he is still technically correct.

Ok, Kerry just said he wasn't going to raise taxes... Guess Heinz is going to pay for all of his spending, eh?
