The sensor is the Intake Air Temperature sensor (IAT) and as Eric mentions, the SVTs mount it upstream in the accordian hose. I believe the SVT KKM setup may have a better/different air coupling for the fenderwell because SVTs remove the intake resonator and might have a different opening. (You can mod the intake res on your SE...)
