I think it all has to do with where the IAC (Idle Air Contorl) valve is located. I think that is what it is called. Either way, if you look at the air box you will see a wire coming off of a sensor on the side of the box. It is only that way on the SE. The SVT has it on the rubber hose leading to the throttle body. So I believe the KKM for the SE has a hole for this, while the SVT does not.

Check the FAQ, I think there is a how to on how to swap a SVT for SE intake. Don't quote me on what that is called cause b/c that is an educated guess, but I am pretty sure that is the reason.
