It cost me an arm and a leg, but it was well worth it.
Two new rear struts, sway bar links, and bushings. Pads & Rotors all around New front control arms Four new tires, alignment.
The total tab was around $2,000. Labor was high with the control arms and struts, and the brakes were more expensive than I would have preferred, but looking at the list, parts cost was certainly not exorbitant.
But it feels like a million bucks now. The only thing that irked me was that they told me they would directly replace my Dunlop SP Sport 5000s, but they ended up putting BF Goodrich Traction T/A H tires on there, about $95 bucks a tire. Still, I was impressed with the lack of noise and solid grip. So I'm hoping that since most of the original equipment they replaced (struts, bushings, rotors, control arms) lasted around 80,000 miles, I should be good to go for the life of the car with these new parts.
The front brake pads were SVT specific, I guess, and I had to wait another day as they ordered my early E0-sized rotors.
They had my car for four days total. I know they had a lot of work to do on my car, but they originally said it would be Tuesday or Wednesday. I feel like considering the amount of money I was spending, and the time in the shop, they should have offered me a loaner. They did give me a car wash gift certificate, and they gave my son a coloring book and some Ford-branded crayons, so I guess that was cool. Overall, grade-A work.

The tires seem to work just fine _ I'm no autocrosser, but yesterday afternoon and this morning I have been pushing them pretty hard (again, by my own standards) and they're not telling me to slow down at all. They're H-rated, and they're certainly not whitewalls as far as aesthetics go, so I'm going to give them a chance.
Like I said, I would have preferred they just replaced the Dunlops I had on there (and enjoyed, when they were not bald), and I think they could have gone a bit sportier within that price range ($85-$95), but heck, with the suspension repairs and new brakes, I feel like it's 1998 and I just drove off the lot.
I was previously planning on the Stazi brakes, but to be completely honest, I simply didn't have the will to do it, especially considering the rotors have been on there for 92,000 miles (!). I'll admit defeat on that one.
BTW, I now have a crapload of part numbers for all the work I got done, so let me know if there's anything you guys need to reference. Till then, I'll be out driving my born again SVT!

I'm pretty sure he didn't request those tires. He originally wanted his Dunlop's replaced with the same. No need to be violent in here. NE-CEG is a peaceful place.
