A few weeks ago somebody mentioned a quick fix to the fuel pump problem using Berryman's B-12. I'm not sure if it mentioned to pour it in with a 1/4 -1/3 tankful left in the car (higher concentration) or to follow the directions: pour and fill-up the tank. I searched and found nothing.

Hmmm... Just wait until you are almost empty. Then poor in the whole bottle of b-12 and then go and fill her up with like 5$ worth of gas into the car and drive around faster than normal for a while.

Thanks, I'll give it a try and hope nothing messes up in the engine.

I just used some b-12 in my car, just follow the directions

I think I was around 1/2 tank, might work a bit better if you are near empty then fill up right after putting it into the tank

I was the one who posted the original B-12 fix.

I actually just waited till the tank was about 1/3-1/2 full, dumped in the B-12 in the can using a funnel, and then filled up. Repeat for 3 tanks. Fixed the issue for me.

You may have noticed another thread where the guy posted some sticky goo that was causing the problem for him: I think the B-12 dissolved similar gunk in my pump filter.

It's a popular cleaner for the throttle body and other areas. Quickly dissolves gunk and other buildup. Available in either spray can or pour. Places like AutoZOne usually carry the spray stuff.

What is "the fuel pump problem"? And is this Berryman's B-12 safe as an additive? I would have a hard time pouring a TB cleaner into my gas tank.

Some brands work and other do nothing. All they do it brake down the crap so that your engine can burn the waste up into dust. It normally takes more than just one bottle though.
