my amp keeps cutting in and out. not the power to the amp, just signal to the speaker. so i'm pretty sure that its the + and - terminals for the speaker wire, because when u bump it or wiggle it around it cuts in and out. i bought it off a buddy of mine a while back, and therefore it has no warranty left on it....any suggestions of what i can do??

loose ground would be my guess. my amp for the front speakers is under my passenger seat, and people in the back always kick it. the ground always comes loose, and it'll cut on/off a good bit til I tighten everything up. usually fixes itself if I wiggle wires around though (ground usually)

you jiggle the speaker wires and it cuts in and out? if so then I believe theres your problem. just undo all the wires from the amp and reconnect them. does this fix your problem? Also it looks like you are using some very small speaker wire.

I have kinda of been having the same problems with my amps too. I have an Mrv 1505 and mrv f357 hooked up, using the same ground (spot) and power. The 1505 works fine too my type r's, but the mrv f357 doesnt have any output, even though it powers up. I tried switching RCA's, hooking up the amp to different speakers and no output. It kind of seems like the ground, but its the same as my other amps. Also its the fifth channel of the amp. THanks

Regarding your problems: always work from small to big. Nine times out of ten, setup is to blame.
Two things to be careful of: First, like you said, your speaker terminals could be loose, or your connections are loose. You definitely need larger wires. Obviously, you don't have screw down terminals on your speakers, so if you want your wires to be secure, you need to either soldier, or if you're feeling half-a$$ed, find speaker circlips @ radioshack and use electrical tape. Second, depending on how you're wiggling the wires, the amp could be going into protect mode eg. the speaker wires are grounding out somehow--however, it's most likely the first problem.
The best/easiest/cheapest way to increase the performance and reliability of your amp is using better wires. The easier current flows, the less your amp works for better sound.
I think, I tinker, I play around, I build.
