Yeah, your car is like mine in that it's old enough to come apart the more we mess around with it. I think you should try it again with a smaller ratchet and deep socket. Or you could just take the car someplace and have them put in the part for a small fee. My car didn't have one working for at least a year, but it sure is nice to know if my car is overheating with the hot summer coming up.
