I own a 1998 Contour SE V6 and love it even though it has begun to cost me a mint for repairs as I previously posted. I am leaving tomorrow on a 1400 mile round trip and codes relating to problems with both pre-cats have sprung up. I researched the forum first. I am going to dump the B12 in the fuel as one fellow said he did and hope for the best on this trip. I am really on pins and needles here. I am interested in gutting the pre-cats and the electronics to fool the computer. I researched the faqs to no avail. I know I probably missed it but could someone please help. Also, what is the chance I will get away with making this trip without a major repair on the road?? I know, probably a stupid question but I am really worried here.
