Haven't seen it yet (they'll replay it on AFN tonight) but it sounds like the Bush/Kerry debate only reversed.

Cheney sounded very competent, much better than G.W.B.
Good thing I already know that most of what he said about Kerry is totaly misleading trash.
Personal convictions about the war can go either way but Bush and Cheney get F's for false attacks. Can't they come up with anything?

There are distortions on both sides, but read about them from an unbiased source - big list

I liked how "distortions" was Edwards' best comeback all night.

Cheney didn't even anwser have the questions he was asked. And almost every other line was a stab at edwards or kerry. Along with the much time waster of repeating things over and over. Cheney didn't know what the hell to do. Cheney also ignored several comments. Making sure he didn't speak on them. Ohh and did Cheney forget there has never been state dictation over marriage. Why would it start with gay marriage? If i was edwards I would have jumped accrossed that table and beat his ass for his crap. Its universally known that his company has horrible records for business ethetics safety for employees. Which he stayed away from as much as possible... hmm wonder why? Might say something and slip and [censored] himself over... I think so. Because of his company my dad about 15 years ago got [censored] over by people like him/his company. During Bush's term (the dad) they allowed candadian oil companies to come into the Wyoming and drill for oil. The companies were not required to pay into works comp. And so when people got hurt they got $3000 cash. And out the door they went. Anywhere else in the country during this time. People were getting 100+ thousand not 3! My dad's doctors bills weren't even covered by the measly 3,000. He had voer 25k in bills. Forcing them to go bankrupt.
On the other hand, the war was needed. But it should have been acted upon different. John kerry would have taken to long and made our country look incompitent. Bush made our country look in control. Which is needed. But Bush had other plans, and its well known and seen. Democrat or Republic. We need a president/vice president who will rebuild our country not continue giving tax cuts to outsourcing companies. Out economy was hurt enough with 9/11. Its only being hurt worse by bush. He did his job. Now its time for him to leave office.

Political differences aside, you need to really work on your grammer. It's hard to read your post.

Edwards made a few corrections but not enough.
There was not enough time to correct all of those very real "distortions". Bush has been out there repeating those distortions for months. There is a base of people now that believe them simply because the President says so, or he pieces together partial quotes from Kerry which don't seem to make sense. It's 1984.
Kerry said in the first debate that the U.S. reserves the right to unilaterally protect itself from attack, but anything else must meet a Global test. (does the rest of the world agree, as in invading other countries)
The next day Bush says Kerry will have to ask the world for permission to retaliate to attack. Is that not a distortion?

The word is GRAMMAR.
Now, back on topic. The vice president clearly one this debate.
