redline MTL is good.....I ahve had no problems with it in hot or cold weather (by cold i mean between 35-45 degrees...it got between thoes temps last year here where i live).I also took it to Mt. Hamilton last year after it snowed up there, with no problems, even after sitting 4 hours.

i can't remember the thread but demonSVT, informed other people that have transmission problems, that synthetic can cause more problems or hard shifts.

he said that if your having problems like that to switch to ATF 3 and use that and stick with it.if your having rough shifts with synthetic, then its a sign of something going bad.

he stressed that Synthetic should be used after break in on a rebuilt trans, or if you have no problems...and if problems show up you should switch back to ATF+3.

other than that, im not completly sure "why" it happens, but it does...I did a trial and error test on it before i rebuilt my trans.

After i rebuilt it, MTL ran fine in all temps i ahve been in.
