Okay, so I have one vote for Mobil 1 with FM and one vote for ATF+3. Todras, is the new FM you mention, XL-7, a ford part?
A typical example for me is I go to shift from 1 to 2 and it's really stiff and doesn't feel like it really locked into gear. But it won't go further so I slowly start letting out on the clutch. Some of the time it did get into gear (though the feel was poor) and everything's fine, other times I get grind and have to clutch, go to neutral, release clutch, then clutch again and try going into 2nd.
