Perhaps I'm off track BUT who says he has to be brain dead to become a doner?
If I were in coma, unlikely probability of recovery (and NO drooling down the front of me doesn't constitute recovery, only functioning contributer to society is recovered to me), UNPLUG ME and take what is wanted.
I'm an organ donor but if I check out before my mother, nobody is getting my parts. Sadly, family has the right to veto the donor's choice.
