Anyone here know anything about the Bosal exhaust for the SVT? I've searched the forums and all I could find was stuff about the Brullen but not Bosal. Cashershighperformance.com has it for the SVT Contour, but no pic or price. Just wondering if anyone has seen pics of it or whatever. I've been looking all over the web for the past two hours now and I can't find a pic of it. confused

Thanks,

Rob

I heard something about Bosal months ago, but nothing came of it - at least to my knowledge. There may be a prototype out there or something...

Hmmmm confused Maybe I should drop this place an email and see what the deal is. I'm just curious what it looks like and even more curious what it sounds like. I was hoping maybe someone here had one. It say's "chameleon" under what style it is, but no pics or prices.

Well, I emailed Cashershighperformance.com and this is what they sent me about the Bosal exhaust for the SVT Contour:

"After calling Bosal we learned that they have finished the prototype for
this application but have not marketed it yet. They gave us the part number
of 112-165 but told us it would not be available till very early next year.
Basically when the new product line is released."

I haven't ever heard anything about Bosal exhaust system's, so hopefully they do a good job on it. Obviously another quasi-dual, but at least it's another alternative for us. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Have a nice day!

I remember reading about a gentleman in Ann Arbor with it. He was actually trying to get rid of it. The "chameleon" aspect of the exhaust is the ability to interchange the tips. The tips bolt into the rear of the muffler. Quite unique. I don't know if a prototype was on his car or not. He said it was loud and wanted to trade to stock because he was getting rid of the car.

You didn't search very well then.

Yep, all true.
I actually have some pictures, I just need to find a place to put them up...
It's a pretty basic quasi-dual with a resonator plus a muffler at each outlet.
The tips would be interchangable if you could get different ones - when I asked Bosal where I could buy them they assured me they would be out by this summer.

Edit - here's the pics: http://people.mw.mediaone.net/sgrzesiak/img/pipe.jpg http://people.mw.mediaone.net/sgrzesiak/img/tip.jpg
