Just to clarify, are you asserting that Petunia was a different car than the GT? I'm confused by the "but from petunia to GT concept drawings" statement.
The petunia was the plan - it was the pipe dream iof the ideal car they would like to produce. When they were actually given money to start the Ford GT-40 project (now GT) it began its gestation - before then it was the pipe dream known as Petunia
