My first CAI was made for my SE back just before the K.C. '99 National meet. A $38 piece of 2.5" mandrel bent stainless steel. I polished it to a chrome like finish and used the rubber fittings to attach it to the TB with brass plumbing fittings from Home Depot for the vacuum/IAT connections. I sold it to someone here in the CEG... wonder if he still has it...
