My sister got her Bachelors in psych in 98, unless you plan on going for your masters don't bother with psych.

Business is a little more useful without the masters. But maybe you should consider what you want to do after you are out of the military, if for instance you want to work on cars and open your own shop the business classes wouldn't hurt. There isn't much point in taking classes if you aren't going to use them though.

You could be a police officer. My friend from CO graduated with a psych degree and he's now on force in Arvada, CO IIRC.

Any help would be nice. Thanks.

Job: "Would you like some fries with that sir?"

Pay: Minimum wage to start.

As for a Business Management degree, that will open more opportunites than a Psychology degree but there will also be tons of competition due to the large amounts of business majors turned out by our Colleges.

?? im not sure what you meant by that. Having an MBA is incredibly helpful in the private sector and a sure way to secure a higher-paying job from the get-go. MBA is a lot work though but companies really respect it because not too many people have them. that's why a lot of professionals go back to get one. just make sure its from a credible school because this matters. Employers dont want to hire someone from the Scooby Doo School of Business. THere are a lot of low rate schools out there handing out MBAs left and right. If you actually want to start out IN a managemetn position then an MBA is really the only way to get that. Most people who get hired with a basic BA/BS go straight to entry level (professional of course, not data entry)

To be an independent practicianer you have to be at least a Masters level for an LPC(licensed professional counselor), which is what I used to be. Unfortunately, you can't make much of a living with it due to insurance companies no longer paying for sessions. I have a BS in Psychology and a M.Ed. in counseling and now work in real estate development.
