Statistically, people over 75 get into as many accidents as teenagers. Yet they get reduced insurance and frequently reduced rental car rates...
I believe all senior discounts are wrong and discriminatory. There would be lawsuits if someone gave white people a 10% discount.
This is so true it's almost scary. My grandfather (who recently passed away) had a 2002 VW Golf that he bought new. In the past 3 years or so of him having the car I think he got in 4 fender-benders? We're not really sure because he wouldn't admit it, and didn't tell it to the insurance company. Yet even with 4 at fault-accidents on his record (1 or 2 from the previous car) he was paying about $600 a year for full coverage on his car, at age 90.
