what does that have to do with a teenager trashing the car? Nothing.

Whats the reason to not allow rentals under 25?

insurance studies show that people under 25, especially men, are much more likely to get into an accident. it's the rental companies protecting their interest. comprende?

Oddly enough you can rent a UHaul though. I've rented 4 since I have been 18, including a 26' diesel 5-speed

well, those don't ususally get too messed up if you hit someone! lol. plus their tougher to do donuts in.

a teenager isnt exactly gonna take a uhaul to the racetrack or drive 100+ mph in it either

ive rented a uhaul tow dolly without an issue myself, but i was unable to get a rental car

I hate to keep bumping but I couldnt edit; Will a travel agency be able/willing to find a rental place for me if I call them (for a fee obviously)?

Whoa I had no idea that there was an official policy or directory like that. Thanks a ton; my dad works closely with Ford so if I need someone to pass along word I should be good. This makes my hopes alot more high.

EDIT - Fate is against me, the nearest cooperating Ford dealer is 2 hours away.

When i was 18 and i had my ranger, and it had to go in over the weekend or something they sent me to enterprise rentals. I had to have full coverage with my insurrance (which with a new vechicle you have to in most states, if not all of them.) Then I got a car. Always focus or taurus. Ford would't pay for anything else.

Flying, Alone. Can they sign the form from home and I can bring it with me?
