Hey I was looking at some clutches and went on Centerforce's website and they show a clutch for the contour!!! I am going to call them to get a price and maybe find out if they would do a group buy. Is this old news? Here's the link for what i found: http://cyber.virtualrep.com/centerforce/...R&yeardata=1999

hey everyone i just got off the phone with centerforce and they are saying the clutch for the contours is a week or two away from being released! Hopefully the info they gave is true because then ill be getting myself a dual friction clutch. I hope this is good news for those in the market for a good clutch.. take care!

i didnt bother asking because their suggested retail price will be more than what what they will go for... but when i call next week ill ask so we can have an idea of how much it will be.

I've heard that Centerforce Clutches are great when brand new... but they don't last long. Is that true? What you guys think of ClutchMaster's?

I put over 30k very hard miles on my last CenterForce dual friction clutch before I sold the car. (it's still going too) I also had 350HP/400TQ or better and running 20-22psi of boost. Never slipped once. I revved to 7500rpm.
Of course this was the complete DF set including pressure plate. I hear some of their clutches are disc only. But on that note. The SVT pressure plate is quite a good unit already.

I was going to go with the Clutchmaster until I ran into the Centerforce. But if this Centerforce clutch doesnt release within the next couple weeks Im going with the Clutchmaster clutch
