From what I've seen. It can't be any worse than the S/C is... Grossly under-engineered, thrown together and shipped with a band-aid.
I'd take a custom prepped turbo anyday. But then again the turbo would work on my 00 SVT. The S/C does not...
If you are really scared. Just plop in a 3L. That's a new engine and is half the price and nearly all the performance (trading TQ for HP - hard to tell the difference from a stop to 100)
