the deal with mine, is that apparently ford screwed up on a few production lines of the cougar...the cam degree #'s/marks were mislabeled. My tuner, was trying to line it up correctly, not knowing they were mislabled. the boost pressure kicked in and the engine shut right off after about 300 miles of driving with it...bent crank, 1 broken rod, and 3 flattened pistons

Actually it was a tsb in 98 about cams being off on the degree marker, when was you car built?
