Anyone have soundclips of some 40 series on a contour? Preferable one in place of the resonator and no rear mufflers.

Mark (WorldTour) use to have no res and a pair of Delta 40 series flow's on his SVT. Sounded raspy, but pretty mean (kinda like the Bassani, actually). He's got soundclips around here somewhere....

Why not go with the bassini and a dynomax ultraflow ? It is probably going to be a lot more effective!

Who makes the quietest most free flowing muffler? I'm putting Ford duals on my car and need a set of mufflers, lord knows Ford mufflers are quiet, but do NOT flow well.

flowmaster series 30 "the quietest flowmaster" also over 24" long

this muffler is a 3 chamber muffler, and as far as baffle type mufflers go a 3 chamber is the quitest, however they tend to be a bit long.

if you rather go with a multiple muffler system, try this out, Eidlebrok RPM for a resonator, and dynomax super turbos out back.

if you want to go with ford mufflers buy one that is for the next size bigger pipes.

NO SUPER TURBOS they suck, and are NO better than the stock SVT mufflers. Get Dynomax Ultraflows instead, if you want Dynomax!

Try JVT's: http://www.contour.org/cgi-ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=40&t=000684

His website says they are Flows, 40 series IIRC. You can kinda hear it over the roasting tires. laugh
