10.05 0-60  with intake removed res., muffler, and plugs.. on a 4 cyl. atx is that good?

Your stop watch or whatever is not accurate, try between 11-12 seconds.

A bit better. 0-60 times are not the contour's forte.

If 0-60 times are what your loking for then this is the wrong car for you....the contour really shines on a road course than the stright line.

i love my contours road handeling but.. at my school, no one does auto-crossing they all race in straight lines... i have the best handeling cars out of all my friends but its the slowest...
what about a csvt or a v6 5 speed or even a zetec 5 speed? how do thoes do 0-60?

They're all better, but still 0-60 and drag races are not the contour's thing. Highway race would be ok. Just forget about racing with the kiddies, do your own thing. If your thing is racing with the kiddies, get a different car.

i only highway raced once with my car once... i went way too fast... well.. my other choice is a 99 grand am se 4 door 3.4l v6 with 105k on it...

Your choices suck. And trust me, you didn't go way too fast with an atx zetec, especially without a chip.
