Being a coaster enthusiast (or enthusist as some here would say

) myself, I personally think these types of coasters are over rated. Yes you get to go high and fast, but that is about it and it is over in a blink of an eye. It is a bit anticlimactic if you ask me. The banks, turns, flips, acceleration and the g's applied throughout are what make a rooler coaster good. Also, the ride needs to have good pacing...meaning the ride needs to be good from start to finish. It is disappointing when a ride has one good drop or flip, but the rest of the ride stinks. Also, it has to have reasonably good length or else you feel cheated when you wait in line for so long and it is over before you know it. That is just my opinion, but I know other coaster enthusiasts that feel the same...
Now if they could just create a ride that starts out like those but that goes one to have other features as well...

=) Christy
