Go to ebay and search for Magnaflow hi flow cats. They are the real thing and only like $55...

Your question was pretty vague, and if you search for half a second you would find the information you want.

Ok, let me try this again. As far as I know there are 3 converters on a v6 Contour, 2 Precats that are connected to the manifolds, and 1 Main cat that is further down the Exhaust line. I need the Main Cat. I didn't figure a search would help because I was asking if one of you guys had one sitting around you would sell. You know maybe someone had done an Exhaust upgrade and was no longer using the stock Cat. Hope this explaintion helps!

I guess I just figured they would all be the same on a 97 2.5 Duratech.

That does help. I didn't get that from your first post. Why not just get a hi-flow or weld in a pipe and get a MIL eliminator?

I am trying to fix it and spend as little as possible. I am going through Chemotherapy right now and am not able to work. I need to fix the car as cheap as possible and sell it. The car is financed in my name but was driven by an Ex girlfriend. She never maintained it and when it started having probs she just stopped paying on it so now I one more F'n thing to deal with. Anyway none of that is your guys problem. I was just trying to get some help on parts.
Thanks Mike

That sucks. I know how chemotherapy makes ya feel, not fun. You may be able to find an used stock cat for cheap, but if you can't, having a pipe welded in and MIL eliminator put in shouldn't cost too much. That is if you like performance and don't mind the noise. Are you absolutely sure it's the cat that's the problem. You don't wanna replace it to find out it as actually ok.
