Went to ford for help in determining what might be causing the vibration felt thru the steering wheel between speed 30-70mph THe Tec concluded the bearing may be the problem on the left side maybe. They were so busy yesterday fixing a muck up on somebody else car, I wiring issue it seems, that they totally forgot about my needs and came up with a lame excuse that it was raining too hard to make a decisive conclusion that it was indeed the left bearing that was going bad.

The question I have for the group is should I have the bearing replaced or should I have the knuckle replaced. Is it not correct that new Knuckles come with the bearing already pressed in? I figure that the cost of pressing a bearing in and out plus the cost of a bearing would be close to the cost of a spindle that already includes the bearing and of course the cost of removing the spindle and aligning the car is a cost incurred no matter the direction is taken.

one more thing I was told that a new spindle requires a different link due to some updating ford has done for my car 95 lx atx v6 abs. I will confirm this with ford in NV.

Any comments

How many bearings are there in the front of the contour?
