This is exactly what Im doing right now. Its funny to find a post about this. Its a little different from what everyone here is doing or did. Im sanding my headlights to remove all those tiny spider web cracks off my headlight. So far I have removed 90% of it. It looks so much better. I went though 4-5 different sandpaper grades to remove these tiny cracks. They were 150-400-600-800-1000/2000 sandpaper grades. Took me several hours to do this. I did use an electric sander, however, it leaves some nasty tiny circles behind. Its best to do it by hand. At the same time Im also painting them black inside. Ill post photos as soon as Im done if y'all like.
