I ordered whatever the part number that is listed on the forum- a 3m4Z xxxx xx I believce or soemthing like that. Bill said that I would be getting the latest one as the one I ordered has been again superceeded by another one. Bill also said whenever he receives orders for parts that have a newer replacement that generally you will get the latest part.

I bought a 5-6k mile "5/02" 3L for $700. (that's a very late model 02)
This was over a year ago so that's like getting an 03/04 now.
Nothing cheaper out there???

Complete engine including manifolds, sensors, TB, et cetera. Hell it even had a few mounts and hoses. I found it through car-part but it happened to be right here in town. I was stoked!!!

Don't just go for local ones if you can help it. I found a 2002 with 5K on it for $550 in Ohio.

Anyone who drops in a new 3.0L without gutting the precat's, if not adding MSDS headers is a fool. You're right there, so do it. The stock precats suck my dog's arse. Gutted are better, but MSDS headers by far if you can swing it. Myself I wouldn't drop the engine in without them. Now in my case I have a ADC Turbokit, so it's got all that....so when I build my 3.0L it's be a low mileage 3.0L with clevite bearing added and my SVT cams transefered over, etc.

#1 for Bendix Brakes Kits!
Knuckles rebuilt w/new bearings $55
AUSSIE ENDLINKS $70
Gutted pre-cats $80/set
A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine!
