all things considered, for the home, part-time wrencher, craftsman is the way to go.
I also believe that Snap-On and MAC both have better quality, etc. but for someone that is not wrenching on stuff a lot (anyhitng more than the average weekend job) the extra cost, and effort typically required to go with snap-on or Mac just isn't worth it. (unless you have lots of spare cash
)
That said, I went w/ Craftsman, but I would never turn my nose at either snap-on or mac.
