During the short months that ive had my intake and muffler, ive noticed that the car's shifts have become less precise and sometimes it seems the tranny likes to retard the shifts (keeping them at high rpms and then rapidly moving to the next gear causing the car to "jump" slightly. Im guessing this is because of the slight decrease in low end-torque/increase in high-end power. I really got to thinking whether im going to have problems with my tranny down the road when I went to get my oil changed and one of the service guys mentioned my "cool intake" and asked if "by the way you have any differences in gear shifts/problems, etc". I told him yes, but just barely, and he said well it shouldn't be any worry for me "for now". Should I be worried about future transmission problems due to the modifications i have now and will do in the future? If so, what can I do to prevent these mishappenings?
