ok so i went golfing saturday evening and i started to hear a tick in the engine bay on the pass. side. and i get out and open the hood and i hear it getting worse. so i bring it straight home. i have a ford certified machanic out (family memeber) out to take a look at it. and it was coming from down by my dampner. and when it was running the dampner was kind of shaking a little bit not alot but enough to notice. so since then it hasn't been running. he said that i either blew a connecting rod , or a spun rod bearing.....

SO WHAT SHOULD I DO..........

will that be alot or should i just go an put the 3l in.
and back to that i need to find somone to do it. i know alot about these engine but not enough to trust myself.
let me know anything you guys are thinking.
thanks
shay

Sound like you spun a bearing. 3L time.

YUR SCREWED

Actually, a 3L is lots of fun I don't even have mine at optimum power and I can't keep my foot out of the throttle. I just hope you have the fundage to get the project done, spun bearings are usually unexpected.
