Trap speed changes very little based on how well you launch.

Your ET can change greatly though.




Exactly. My 16.0 with a slipping clutch still yielded an 85-86mph trap, compared to my 15.3 with an 88mph. I knew that, I'm interested in why my traps might be so low. I know I have at least ~168whp and ~149wtq, with a guesstimated 10 more whp. If stock is trapping at 90-91, why am I trapping at least 2mph slower with at least stock power? Could the elevation affect it that much?
