STi's sound great in my opinion. The best sounding stock 4 banger I've ever heard.

Yeah they do, but that boxer engine is different than a regular 4cyl. SRT4s sound pretty good, and a few modified 4cyls sound good.

I bet you the first aftermarket mod out there will be a hood to give some AIR to that poorly designed intercooler. . .or better yet, in the vane of F&F, a FMIC would be a no-brainer for the aftermarket. . .it looks like a fun car, but I can only imagine the turbo lag. . .

I thought it's been twin turboed. Maybe things changed.

It's not a matter of horsepower. I'd rather have two more cylinders doing less work than two fewer. It simply makes more sense to have a more capable engine do LESS work to make the same power. It will last longer that way.

But yes, I'll miss that 26hp. ;-)

i thought it was just one turbo. . .I guess we can wrestle this one out once more is disclosed. . .yeah, 2 little turbos would be GREAT, I just figured most OEM companies put twin turbos when they have 2 banks of cylinders, not 1 (like in an I-4, unless of course they are tc'ing the 3L, which in that case twin turbos would be wild). . .

Volvos uses two turbos on its I-5s.
