Sniff Sniff.....FISHE's nose smells insurance fraud

well, he has another post that has more details: car was stolen 9/1, just found it/saw it.

looks like:
-thieves stole it
-took it to "chop" it
-had to tow it to a deserted place to ditch it, hence the stock wheels
-set in on fire to destroy any evidence

sucks man. hope you the "extra insurance" to cover your stereo system. did you have wheels locks? my gorilla locks warranty against theft.

Was wondering the same thing about the rims,kind of strange,and a little fishy to.

Possibly they swapped VIN plates from a junked same color 'Tour then burned it to hide the evidence. Maybe your car is running around intact registered as another car somewhere.

Anyway that sucks...

Thats really terrible that someone would do that to such a nice car. My condolences. I'll have to agree with Brad that this seems like the thief/thieves knew what he/they wanted.

Doesn't make sense why they would gut everything but not take the front bumper and headlights.

So we're looking for a non-SVT 98 - 00 owner that already has front and rear SVT bumpers (rear bumper is there, it burned up) and had a set of E0 wheels he/she could afford to lose. He/she will also have a new set of side skirts, and a hopped up engine. Speakers won't be what jag61180 had, you can see those are burned up, but maybe some nice new subs and amps...
